Business Psychologists Ltd, SHL's distributor in Russia and CIS, has celebrated 15 years of SHL presence in the Russian market.
200 clients were invited to the conference which took place on November 9 in the Marriott Grand Hotel in Moscow.
The conference gave HR professionals an opportunity to discuss the development of HR in Russia over the last 15 years, as well as latest trends and major challenges in the areas of recruitment, development and assessment of personnel.
The conference was opened by Tatiana Khvatinina, Managing Director of Business Psychologists. She noted that the importance of these 15 years, as in 1990 HR did not exist as a profession in the country.
Since then, SHL has carried out more than 2,500 projects for Russian clients, has trained 5,000 HR professionals and assessed more than 70,000 candidates. Other speakers were leading HR professionals from companies representing different industries: Alcoa, Wimm-Bill-Dann, METRO Cash&Carry, Kelly Services, Siemens, TNT Express, L’Oreal, Philipp Morris, 3M, GlaxoSmithKline.
The conference was followed by three workshops devoted to recruitment, assessment and development of people, where SHL consultants together with industry speakers shared best practices, presented successful projects, discussed new approaches in these areas.
The event concluded with a gala dinner.
