The SHL Research Division, led by Professor Dave Bartram, is responsible for directing and carrying out strategic research and development for the SHL Group. We have links with a number of academic institutions and leading researchers in the field.

A Research Psychologist position has become available to work on the development of new assessment tools. This is a great opportunity to work on some cutting edge research projects in the areas of motivation, personality and performance. Activities include literature searches, method design, data collection and management, data analysis and reporting, and writing questionnaire items.

This position would be suitable for a psychologist interested in psychometric test development. An MSc in Occupational Psychology or a related subject, and experience in psychometrics would also be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is organised, hard working and who has a keen eye for detail. You should have strong I.T skills and feel confident working with data using SPSS and Excel. Quick learning, good time management, forward planning skills and coping with a high workload and tight deadlines are essential.
