Findex An easily administered test of fine dexterity. The candidate is required to insert thin steel rods into small holes and secure them with the aid of a screwdriver. The working area is restricted and both hands need to be used to complete the task. Time: 7 minutes Mandex Measures skill in the assembly of mechanical objects with a particular emphasis on manual dexterity. The candidate is presented with a pre-assembled structure (mounted on one end of a wooden base) consisting of six steel plates joined together by an assortment of nuts, bolts, washers and spacers.
