Ability Tests

Fastrack

Overview:

Fastrack is an interactive test that assesses an individual's capacity to analyse new and incomplete information in order to make correct decisions.

It achieves this through a new and dynamic approach to testing that simulates the way information flows through organisations and the way in which people have to cope with piecemeal information.

The simulation involves a series of card-based scenarios that require different analysis and decision-making strategies which simultaneously test how quickly and accurately a person can assimilate and work with incomplete information.

Suitable for:

  • A role where there is a requirement to rapidly assimilate and apply new information e.g. Business Analysts & Strategists, Systems Analysts, Management Consultants, Financial Specialists.
  • In an Assessment Centre to provide finer discrimination between higher ability candidates e.g. candidates from a large pool have been pre-screened on group tests such as MGIB, and the requirement is to select the best of these candidates.
  • In a Development Centre to identify areas of development to improve problem analysis and decision making skills.

What does it measure?

Fastrack measures problem solving and analysis skills.

Benefits

  • Candidates actually find it fun to do!
