Overview: The Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ32) is one of the most popular and widely used Occupational Personality Questionnaires; it is available in over 30 languages, with an unparalleled worldwide research base. It is a truly international tool - shaped by our unique understanding of the use of OPQ in a wide range of cultures and languages. What does it measure? The OPQ32 targets the competencies required by managers, graduates and experienced hires. It provides valuable information on am individuals preferred behaviour on 32 personality characteristics. The OPQ32 dimensions are grouped into three areas: relationship with people, thinking styles, and feelings and emotions. Two OPQ32 versions are available: OPQ32n OPQ32n has a normative format. This straightforward approach makes it particularly appropriate for development, but it can also be used in selection, training and counselling. The time to complete the questionnaire is approx 35 minutes (untimed). OPQ32i OPQ32i has an ipsative (forced choice) format, making it ideal for selection contexts. The time to complete the questionnaire is approx 45 minutes (untimed). OPQ32 Reports A range of business-relevant and user-friendly reports are available to aid interpretation. Specific reports have been developed for use by hiring managers with no training in or prior knowledge of interpretation of personality assessment results.
