What is the Business Outcomes Study Report?
SHL regularly conducts studies with client organisations across the world to measure ROI impact they realised from their assessment programmes. Each Business Outcome Study evaluates the link between using quantifiable data to inform workforce decision making and achieving outstanding business performance.
Key findings from client projects are produced annually and shared in the Business Outcomes Study Report.
Highlights of the 2012 Report
SHL’s sixth annual Business Outcomes Study Report provides tangible proof that bottom line business results directly correlate to the talent measurement solutions, or People Intelligence adopted by these organisations.
Over the past year, SHL worked with clients across the world to complete a record 66 business outcome studies. The findings from 12 studies featured in the report include:
- Car retailer realises £624,000 in extra sales per salesperson
- Call centre collection agents are 41% more productive
- Insurance company saves £2 million from reducing staff turnover and absence
Findings from the past six years are also included in a summarised table in the report, and span various industries from financial service and retailer to hospitality and media. They also cover many different job types, including sales, management, customer service, and engineering roles.
As pressures mount on departments to achieve objectives and to correlate efforts with measurable output, HR and talent management is no exception. The Business Outcomes Study Report provides you with insight into the relationship between key performance indicators and the organisation’s People Intelligence initiatives.
