SHL re-structures management team for significant growth opportunities
SHL, the global leader in talent measurement, is announcing the re-structure of three key roles on its Operating Committee. The changes come into immediate effect and will enable SHL to maximise its global leadership, take advantage of significant growth opportunities in the uptake of talent assessments and drive forward its intense customer focus across the organisation.
As unemployment rates are high and job applications surge, recruiters are spending significant time reading CVs. Analyst firm Bersin cite this as a critical factor leading to the explosion of interest in talent assessments in their Strategic Human Resources and Talent Management: Predictions for 2012 report. Reflecting this trend, SHL is seeing significant appetite for its assessments and talent measurement solutions in the US, UK, Europe and Asia, with demand for assessments reaching levels of around 40% growth between 2010 and 2011 in the UK, Germany and India, and 57% in the US.
SHL currently supports more than 10,000 customers and is present in 50 countries worldwide. To continue to take advantage of opportunities in growth markets, it has re-organised its leadership structure.
Andy Bradshaw formerly chief sales officer at SHL will become president, Europe and ANZ. Mike Tims formerly chief customer officer will become president, of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Both also retain accountability for the sales and professional services teams globally. Tims and Bradshaw will be spearheading the launch of the company’s award-winning SHL Talent Analytics™ solution to its global customer base.
Robert Morgan becomes chief customer officer whilst retaining his chief marketing officer role. This appointment emphasises SHL’s customer commitment across the organisation , strengthening customer experience through a centralised strategy. Morgan will oversee all central customer functions including Central Professional Services support, the Global Shared Services Centre, SHL Alliances and its global marketing strategy.
- In addition to the Operating Committee changes, Stephen Read, who joined SHL in 2011 as sales director for UK and Ireland is promoted to managing director of the UKI business following his outstanding sales and customer leadership. Stephen Read will lead sales, consulting and operations for the UK and Ireland. Delivering a superior customer experience and helping customers identify how their talent stacks up against the industry through Talent Analytics.
