Our Research on Disability and Assessments

We are conducting a number of research studies on assessing disabled talent. Below is an overview of four research scenarios for which we are actively recruiting research partners. Research Scenarios:

  1. If you are running a graduate recruitment process with us, we would like to add some additional, optional, disability-related questions to your system in order to capture information on disability and user experience.
     
  2. We are looking for large employers with diverse employee populations to email invitations to a sample of employees asking for their voluntary participation in an online research study. Participants will complete between two and three our assessments and additional questions related to disability and user experience and will receive a personalised development feedback report on completion.
     
  3. We are looking for charities or other organisations working with disabled candidates, students or graduates to email invitations to a sample of their candidates asking for their voluntary participation in an online research study. Participants will need to complete two or more SHL assessments. They will also be asked to complete questions related to disability and user experience and will receive a personalised career-guidance report on completion.
     
  4. We are also looking for current or past users of our assessments with archival documentation of applicants’ and employees’ disabilities or requests for adjustments. They will be asked to provide anonymised data related to frequency and nature of documented disabilities, reasonable adjustments provided, and/or requests for adjustments during the recruiting process.
