Workforce planning and anticipating future talent needs are at the center of corporate strategy and a key priority for HR leaders globally. However, predicting future capability needs, accessing enough talent, and filling future gaps through buy or build strategies is no easy feat. This is especially true in this period of disruption–the new work environment, scarce talent, high turnover, and a shift in the employee-employer dynamic– where the business context is ever-changing and the economic conditions are tightening.
