How would you describe the culture at SHL?

What perks or benefits do you appreciate most?
Flexibility, hands down. As a parent of three young children, I’ve learned to embrace agility. The flexibility in my role, and the wider business culture, truly support this balance. The work-life balance here allows me to have a fulfilling life outside of work while still thriving in my career.
How has your career grown since you joined?
When I joined SHL 19 years ago, I was fresh out of university with a narrow academic understanding of Industrial Psychology. Since then, my career has evolved both vertically and laterally, shaped by the many transformations within the business. Some opportunities were ones I asked for and importantly, not all in the form of promotions; some were new responsibilities, fresh challenges, unfamiliar teams that stretched my capabilities.
How does your work make an impact?
The decisions I make, and the requests I champion, are always with the best interests of our business, our people, and our clients in mind. Every action we take for a client has ripple effects: it contributes to their success and touches the lives of individuals going through assessments, landing jobs, earning promotions - or gaining clarity through data-driven decisions.
