Have a Question About Your Transition to TalentCentral?

  • How can I get further training on TalentCentral?

We have created a suite of training and support materials to help you get the most out of the new TalentCentral system.  These include the Quick Start Guides in the below languages to get you going, as well as various training options and overview videos available via our learning portal.

  • What happens to my old portal once I've switched to TalentCentral?

You will be able to access all your historical data and results on the previous portal for up to 90 days following the switch. From the switch date onwards, all new assessment projects will be initiated and administered on the new TalentCentral portal.

  • Will TalentCentral support our organization's employee diversity requirements?

TalentCentral adheres to global WCAG 2.0AA standards for supporting accessibility requirements.  Our aim is to continually advance the functionality of our products so that they are accessible by the widest spectrum of candidates and users.  Screen readers, zoom controls, keyboard controls and contrast options and timer adjustments (for test takers) are enabled on TalentCentral.

We have worked closely with organizations such as the ClearCompany, AbilityNet and AccessibilityOZ to ensure that audits and expert level user testings are performed and accessibility issues are addressed thoughtfully and appropriately, and in a way that empowers candidates with disabilities.

Please note that while TalentCentral provides a range of support for accessibiilty needs, not all assessment content or administrative features lend themselves to working with assistive devices and other accessibility options.  In these cases, other types of company-determined accommodations may be required.

  • How secure is TalentCentral?

We ensure the highest levels of service management and business continuity.

We adhere to the ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management standard, which demonstrates our best practice commitment to preparing for and minimizing the chances of disruption to your business.

In addition we hold ISO 20000 IT Service Management Systems certification, which demonstrates our best practice commitment to managing IT service incidents, system capacity and availability and supports our goal of delivering uninterrupted quality service to our clients and candidates.

We also hold ISO 27001, which certifies that our systems and data centers are operated in accordance with industry best practices. We have a program of internal security audits to ensure all security policies are adhered to. We are Verizon Cyber Trust certified, and conform to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework.

  • Does TalentCentral cost more than my SHL On Demand or Select2Perform system?

No. Assessment unit costs are unchanged and there are typically no direct costs to transition to TalentCentral unless further services or consulting support is required.

  • Is technical support available to candidates taking assessments via TalentCentral?

Candidate support is available via the TalentCentral support web portal. This provides a comprehensive list of FAQs covering most of the common queries from candidates, as well as instructions on how the candidate can ensure that their computer is compatible with the assessment they are taking.

These FAQs have been designed with a focus on the assessments the candidate has been asked to complete rather than the system that is used to deliver them. Questions regarding assessment preparation, ensuring computer compatibility with the assessment, and help for candidates experiencing any issues taking the assessment will be the same as for our legacy systems.

Candidates will not be expected to know the name of the system that they complete their assessment on. If they have an issue logging into the system they will be presented with a selection of login screen images to choose from to get system-specific advice.
