Weights and Measures [Standard and Metric]

Description

The Weights and Measures [Standard and Metric] test aims at assessing the skill level of the test taker in conceiving of mathematical situations, determining means for finding solutions as well as determining those solutions. Questions are given that will reveal the test taker's understanding and handling of word problems (most of which provide conversion rates), conducting basic calculations as well as displaying knowledge of terminology often used in conjunction with mathematical units and concepts. While a calculator is not necessary to successfully complete this test, it will not aid the test taker unless they are familiar in weights and measures, a calculator may or may not be used, to be determined by the test administrator. __ __ This test is appropriate to administer to those working in an industrial environment that will be expected to use calculations in the work place. __ __ Note that if you are seeking a strictly conversion-based test, the Unit Conversion test will be a better fit for your needs. __ __ Tests for Basic Industrial Math and Basic Industrial Skills are also available.
